It seems that every single time I try to restart my blog, I only even manage to write up one blog post before I manage to talk myself out of making a commitment to this page. I'm not entirely sure why I find it so hard to commit to write on a regular basis, but I think that it might have something to do with the fact that I suck at writing and I lack the motivation to do so. So, since it's been a while since I last checked in I thought I'd catch you all up on what's been happening since my last post - which coincidentally has a lot to do with what I'm about to write about.

When I wrote my first post I was about to embark upon a weight loss journey that would effectively change my life. Like I've previously mentioned, I've always had issues with my weight and it's always been something that has bothered. After years of yo-yo dieting and never getting anywhere I decided to try to things the proper way - eat healthier, exercise more and think more positively. So I'm 22 weeks into trying to better myself for me and I haven't gotten as far as I'd hoped I would but I'm willing to accept that these things take time and effort - something that I don't always have. However, after 22 weeks of perseverance, I've managed to lose a total of 28lbs (yep 2 stone), now that might not seem that much considering the amount of time it has taken but I'm super proud of myself. Not only have I managed to lose more than 10% of my original weight but I also feel fitter and a lot more confident. Below I've attached a photo comparison the image on the left is way back in february and the image on the right was taken yesterday before I headed out to the gym.

Images like these are what keep me going when I'm not feeling like there's any change in my body. Even though the changes are small it really motivates me to keep on going and become the fittest I can be.

Obviously self-love is really important and as long as you're happy with yourself it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks so I'd just like to I'm in no way doing this for anyone else. I do love my body but like I said I'd like to become the fittest that I can be. So this summer inbetween working I'm hoping to further my weight loss journey even more and get closer to becoming the healthiest I have ever been. I'll try to keep you all updated as often as I can. Hope you are all well!
